watch a demoBumptm makes connecting as simple as bumping two phones together.
Bump is a quick and easy way to connect two phones by simply bumping them together.
Now you can exchange your phone number, other people's contact information, photos, or compare friends with just a bump.
We started Bump Technologies to solve a major problem with mobile phones: there was no way to easily and intuitively connect two phones that are sitting right next to each other. There is an enormous gap between the growing intelligence of mobile devices and the relatively archaic methods to connect them. Should I really have to type in someone's phone number or email address to be able to interact with them when they are standing right next to me? We don't think so.
We know it sounds unbelievable, so we have tried to explain how The Bump Technology works in our frequently asked questions. If you don't believe that it can work there is an easy solution: try it. Bump is free on the iTunes app store (iTunes link) and Android Market (Market link). Please feel free to send us an email if you want to know more!
We are hard at work developing other applications for The Bump Technology and would love to hear your suggestions.
David Lieb, Andy Huibers, and Jake Mintz founded Bump Technologies in October of 2008. The company is dedicated to making mobile devices easier, quicker, and more intuitive to use.
